KittensStart allowing kittens access to AvoDerm Natural cat food about 3 weeks before weaning. The food can be moistened to help consumption. After weaning feed the kitten 3 to 4 times per day for the first 2 months, and then from 2 to 3 times per day until reaching adult size, and then 1 to 2 times per day. Expect to feed 1 1/2 to 2 times the adult feeding recommendation during the kitten's growing phase. Adjust the daily amount fed so the kitten maintains a good body condition.

Pregnant FemalesDuring pregnancy increase the feeding amount during the last 1/3 of pregnancy to 1 1/2 times the amount recommended as shown for the adult. Avoid excessive overfeeding, maintaining a good body condition, while preparing for whelp and nursing.

Lactating FemalesA nursing female can expect to need 2 to 3 times as much food as recommended in the adult feeding guideline. Adjust the extra food given by the number of kittens and length of nursing. Try to maintain a good body condition.
