One of the most attractive species you may buy for your freshwater aquarium is the angelfish. It has a wide range of colors, sizes, and forms. Natural sightings of the angelfish are common in South American rivers, especially the Amazon. They have slow-moving water that is rich in driftwood and other excellent hiding spots. As a result, these components must also be present in your tank. Even tiny caverns can be inserted into the tank to serve as hiding spots.

Because the angelfish is an omnivorous species, a variety of foods may be used to feed it. For example, they enjoy worms and flakes that are produced just for them. However, you may also give them plain veggies that have been thinly cut. Be mindful that adult angelfish have been known to consume smaller fish in the aquarium. This does not indicate that they are hostile. They just consume nearly anything that fits in their mouths. So, bear this in mind when you select your tank mates. It's ideal to have partners who develop into the size of these fish.
