Due to their wide variety of colors and forms, swordtail fish are a large family of fish. However, the sword-like tail that appears in all varieties of Swordtails gives them their name. A 15-gallon aquarium, for instance, is a wonderful place to start. Swordtails tend to swim a lot but won't get very huge. Therefore, having such a tank will be quite beneficial to them. A cover for your tank can also be a smart option considering Swordtails have excellent jumping skills.

The ideal water temperature ranges from 65 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid abrupt changes to the temperature so that it is always in their advantage. Feeding them is really simple. You may purchase flakes of food, but plain veggies will also work. Worms and shrimp are also favorites.
